Day 1
On arrive at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by one of our guides who will drop to your hotel and brief you about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival, you will squeeze in a small tour of Kampala city. Kampala is about 45 minutes drive from Entebbe International Airport. Spend the night at one of the hotels of your choice ie Serena/Sheraton Hotel for the up market accommodation, Hotel African for medium class accommodation and Namirembe guest house for budget accommodation in Kampala.

Day 2
Early morning drive northwest through the famous Luwero and masindi town to Murchison Falls National Park, arrive in the afternoon. In the afternoon visit the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile compressing from up to 1 km squeezed through a 7m canyon dropping 150m with thunderous roar, creating a beautiful rainbow. Marvel at “The Murchison Falls’ and enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge. Enjoy the superb comfort and service of paraa Safari lodge or Nile Safari Camps for up market accommodation or red Chills for budget accommodation for dinner.

Day 3
Early morning go for a game drive on the northern bank of the park. Your guide will help you spot elephants, lions, Cape buffaloes, Roth child’s Giraffes, Hartebeests Hyenas and if you are lucky, the Leopards. With a packed lunch, go for boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome Hippos, Crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see Elephants, Waterbucks and Uganda Kobs. This is also a zone for many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, Pelican bee-eater, Kingfisher, hornbill, Cormorant and the Rare Shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4
Drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through the countryside and through traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’. The drive takes approximately 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at one of the guest houses.

Day 5
Depart early after breakfast for the hot springs and crown the day in the pygmy village located near Ituri rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. The guide will have lunch arranged for you to be served as picnic while you experience “real Africa”. After lunch transfer to Fort Portal and spend the night at a Guest House.

Day 6
After breakfast visit Kibale Forest National Park, Kabale Forest has the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search for wild Chimpanzees, Red-tailed Monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys and many others. After lunch explore the Crater Lake region, which has many crater lakes. Spend the night at either Ndali lodge, Mantana, Rwenzori Guest House, Ataco or Primate lodge Kibale. (Full Board).

Day 7
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori mountain range. A game drives en-route to view Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. Enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos in East Africa. This launch/cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and over night at either Mweya Lodge/ Jacana safari Lodge for up market accommodation, King Fisher Lodge Kichwamba/ Hill TompCamp for medium class accommodation or the Institute of Ecology Cottages budget accommodation. (Full Board).

Day 8
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, Tropical Forest, Rivers, Swamps, Lakes and Volcanic craters it is also home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Have an early morning Game drive where you have an opportunity to see the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunity to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hog, Cape Buffalo, Elephant, Defassa Waterbuck, Uganda kob, Topi and Bushbuck. These two game drives and the boat trip (taken prior) are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife. Visit the Bats, Rock Python and Forest Cobras. The same walk will provide a chance of seeing Birds, Primates, Tree species etc. Dinner and over night at either Mweya Lodge/ Jacana safari Lodge for up market accommodation, King Fisher Lodge Kichwamba/ Hill TompCamp for medium class accommodation or the Institute of Ecology Cottages budget accommodation. Day 9
Drive through Kigezi highlands commonly known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa because of its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector where you will see the tree Climbing Lions. Overnight at either Gorilla Forest Camp for up market accommodation, Lake Kitandara Tented Camp or Buhoma Homestead Medium class accommodation or UWA Community Bandas for budget accommodation. (F/B).

Day 10
Make an early morning entry into the Gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular. It offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal’s trails allowing access for tourists. Mammals recorded include the endangered Mt. Gorilla, the rare Golden Monkeys, Buffalos, Elephants, Black-fronted Duiker, Bush Buck, Leopard, giant forest Hog and others. This park is best known for the fascinating Gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to movement of the marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal fascinating to look at. It is a forgettable experience. Overnight at either Gorilla Forest Camp for up market accommodation, Lake Kitandara Tented Camp or Buhoma Homestead Medium class accommodation or UWA Community Bandas for budget accommodation. Day 11
As an option participants can have a guided nature walk in Bwindi and choose from one of the 5 trails or the new village trail. After a rigorous day at Bwindi, most clients will welcome some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake. The options here are Birding, Cycling, Swimming or Canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island Camp.

Day 12
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a stop over at the Equator. Overnight in one of the hotels of your choice ie Serena/Sheraton Hotel for the up market accommodation, Hotel African for medium class accommodation and Namirembe guest house for budget accommodation
Kampala.

Day 13
After an early morning breakfast,  transfer to Jinja to either visit the source of the River Nile and Bujagali Falls or indulge yourself in  a half day white water rafting.
Overnight in one of the hotels of your choice ie Serena/Sheraton Hotel for the up market accommodation, Hotel African for medium class accommodation and Namirembe guest house for budget accommodation
Kampala.

Day 14
Time allowing take a city tour before you transfer to the airport.
